A 'Blue Lady' visits Puerto Lumbreras (19/05/2018)

The House of the Elves of Puerto Lumbreras has just hosted the presentation of the book 'The embrace of the blue lady'.

A work by the writer Dolores Ibarra Espín in which she compiles four illustrated stories based on real events through a dress, a handkerchief, a ribbon and a light.

All of them have the same conductive element: the blue color.

The event was attended by the Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Mª Victoria Jerez, and was enlivened by the voice of María Andreo and Marcos Germán Romera's guitar.

As the author explains, "I have contemplated the world from the sewers and from the upper echelons", which has allowed her to understand that "there is nothing and nobody on earth that does not deserve a poem".

This is what he proposes, and he manages to do it from a pen that transits the enigma, emotion and feeling to achieve the transmission of values such as generosity, humility, tolerance and solidarity.

The ultimate goal of the work proves it, since the benefits of the collection will go to research against cancer.

Dolores Ibarra Espín spent her childhood and adolescence in Baza (Granada), although she was born in Manresa.

Finally he moved to Águilas, the city that welcomes her and where she currently resides.

Despite the fact that her career spanns 35 years as a police officer, her great fondness for literature shows her from a very young age, starting as a child with story writing and later becoming a storyteller and poet.
