The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras organizes a complete program of activities for all audiences during the summer months, including local festivals, music, sports, poetry and film recitals, among other activities.
The councilman of Culture and Celebrations;
Juan Rubén Burrueco, and the Councilor for Tourism;
Antonia María Navarro, have presented the new program of activities "Nogalte Cultural", which will take place during the months of July and August in the municipality.
Specifically, almost 40 cultural, sports and leisure activities make up this program designed by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras "to meet the maximum expectations of leisure Lumbrerenses and visitors."
In this sense, the new edition of Nogalte Cultural 2019 starts this Friday, July 12, with the election and coronation of the children's queen of the 2019 celebrations, which will take place at 8:00 p.m.
in the Reina Sofía Park.
On Saturday the 13th the Carmen Festival in Goñar will be held from 20:30 at the Sports Center, in addition to the 3x3 basketball "Memorial Silvestre Pérez" in the Lumbrerense Sports Pavilion from 4 in the afternoon.
At 10 o'clock at night a copla performance with Carmen Murcia will take place at the Casa del Cura.
The program continues on Tuesday, July 16 with the observation of the partial lunar eclipse, at 22:00 h.
in the Astronomical Observatory of Cabezo de la Jara.
On Tuesday of July, the successful "Young Tuesdays" will continue at the municipal swimming pools, with free admission from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am and live music and performances.
On Friday, July 19, a poetry recital will be held at 22:00 h.
in the House of the Priest.
On Saturday the 20th the Adom Silybum Orientation Crossing will take place, with the Silybum family crossing for the 2nd of August and the Andaya family crossing for the 14th.
On Sunday the 21st the parties of the Los Limoneros neighborhood, and on Friday the 26th the delivery of business awards at 22:00 h.

On Saturday the 27th we will have a flamenco night at the Casa del Cura with the Friends of Dance and Singing Association "Amigos de Andalucía".
On August 3 the youngest will enjoy the children's storytelling "La bruja Piruja" in the Augusto Vels Park.
The music will continue on August 9 with the night of local artists, on the 23rd with the rock group "Alambrada" and on the 24th with the encounter of trovos.
Among other activities, also highlights the summer cinema on Tuesday in August (22:00 h.).
