Incorporate a service more effective citizen emergency in Puerto Lumbreras (14/10/2016)

The City Council and the Community have signed a collaboration agreement to integrate the municipality in service emergency call 112-Murcia.

"The City Council joined this service in order to ensure appropriate response and care to citizens in emergencies quickly and effectively," stressed the Mayor.

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the Minister of Presidency, Maria Dolores Pagán, have signed a collaboration agreement between the two administrations to integrate the municipality in service emergency call 112-Murcia.

The mayor of the town said "the City Council joined the service 112-Murcia in order to ensure adequate response and attention to citizens quickly and effectively."

Moreover, he added that "with this new service improve coordination and shorten the response time to an emergency."

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras is incorporated into service 112-Murcia with the aim of providing an adequate response to calls received on both the phone number 112 and emergency phones City Council.

In addition, with the signing of this agreement more effective performance of municipal services, especially the Local Police and Civil Protection Service is ensured.

Thus, the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras have a Remote Command and Control Center (CRMC).

This system will allow all teams involved in emergency response have real-time information about any calls of citizens, while instant data on resource mobilization and monitoring of emergency will be handled.

In this regard, operators Emergency Coordination Center 112-Murcia introduce the case data in a shared local bodies system.

Similarly, those who are considered emergencies, municipalities receive through any telephone call, radio or direct knowledge of the operation, will be entered into the system by the operators of the remote center of the body.

The intervention of different agencies in the incidents will occur according to existing protocols performance in which the body or service must act to ensure the life or physical integrity of persons or property is determined.

To this end the Ministry provides the necessary technological support to support the centers and platforms, equipment, hardware and software for connection to the system of 112-Murcia, as well as initial and ongoing training of municipal staff.

Finally, Tunisia has said that "with the launch of this service optimizing resources and contribute in a meaningful way to improve public safety".
