During the gala will award prizes to the City of Puerto Lumbreras Best Collaborating Institution with the Athletics in the 2015/2016 season.
Puerto Lumbreras has been the venue for the fifth edition of the Athletics Gala FAMU, where the best athletes, coaches and institutions of the season 2015/2016 will be recognized.
This morning, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, the Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo, and the vice president of the Athletics Federation of Murcia, Pruden Guerrero, presented this gala to be held on Saturday 5th November at the Hotel Riscal in Puerto Lumbreras.
The event will start from 20.30 and bring together all the winners with each of the special awards from top athletes sub 18, sub 23, absolute and veterans, even the best coaches, clubs and collaborating institutions with athletics.
Among the various awards, will be distinguished athletes who have achieved regional plusmarcas throughout the season.
Also during the gala will award prizes to the City of Puerto Lumbreras Best Collaborating Institution with the Athletics in the 2015/2016 season.
In addition to the aforementioned awards, awards the Olympic Spirit, shields and shield Silver Gold and Diamond FAMU be granted.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, said that "it is an honor that Puerto Lumbreras host the celebration of one of the most special nights of the year in the world of athletics."
