The trade and local associations have collaborated in this charity event with more than 200 gifts that have been drawn among all attendees.
The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras today hosted the traditional charity of the Association against Cancer with which funds are raised that will serve to increase the means and the aid for people suffering from this disease in the municipality.
Specifically, more than 350 people attended this annual charity meeting, including the President of the Provincial Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Agustín Navarrete, members of the local board in Puerto Lumbreras with its president Ana María Cerrillo To the head, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia and members of his government team, Senator Fulgencio Gil, as well as representatives of various associations and businesses in the municipality.
The Mayor explained that "it is very important to continue collaborating with the association and supported the work they do to fight against this disease and to help the patients of the municipality and their families."
For its part, the president of the local board of the AECC, Ana María Cerrillo, thanked the city council and the different entities for their collaboration with this event that has more attendees every year.
It should be noted that local shops and associations collaborate every year in this charitable event with numerous gifts that are drawn among all the attendees throughout the day.
