The presentation will be attended by the mayor of the municipality, a representation of the cofradías of Holy Week and the singer Curro Piñana, who will play some saetas.
The Department of Culture and Tourism of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Cabildo of Brotherhood Pasionarias of Puerto Lumbreras will present Holy Week lumbrerense in the International Tourism Fair (FITUR).
Puerto Lumbreras will take its Easter to this fair as one of the main hallmarks of the municipality, as well as one of the most outstanding tourist products of the local heritage.
For the first time, Holy Week of Puerto Lumbreras will be present at this important event that seeks to promote the cities and the main festivals in the country.
Specifically, Puerto Lumbreras has reserved a space on the day of next Thursday, January 19, which will present the main attractions of Holy Week lumbrerense and which will be represented the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Faith and María Santísima de la Piedad, the Old and Venerable Brotherhood of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows and the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazareno and María Santísima de la Esperanza.
In the presentation will be a tour of the 8 processions and the three brotherhoods, placing special emphasis on the meeting of saetas "The Saeta in the Pain" as a distinctive and characteristic element of Holy Week lumbrerense.
In this sense, the famous cantaor Curro Piñana will accompany the mayor to the presentation and will interpret different saetas to the rhythm of the drum and the cornet.
Also, during the presentation, will be projected a video edited especially for this occasion with images of Holy Week of the municipality so that the attendees can know a little better the processions of the municipality.
