The City of Puerto Lumbreras has a Custom Payment Plan that allows citizens to split the amount of their taxes in 12 monthly payments.

The Councilor for Finance, Raquel Rodriguez, explained that "we put in a new year this measure to continue offering facilities to citizens when paying municipal taxes."

The Custom Payment Plan consists of the fractionation of the receipts corresponding to the different municipal taxes that the citizen has to face.

Thus, taxpayers can group all their municipal taxes for the same fiscal year in 12 months at no cost to the citizen.

In 2014 the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras signed an agreement with the Tax Agency for the implementation of this plan with the aim that the lumbrerenses could pay their taxes until twelve months without paying interest on arrears.

Those who wish to avail themselves of the Custom Payment Plan must go to the Office of the Puerto Lumbreras Tax Agency (located in Plaza Maestro Fulgencio Romera Asensio).
