The Department of Employment of the City of Puerto Lumbreras will launch two new employment programs that will allow the hiring of three young people enrolled in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
Specifically, in the coming months will be developed the project "Lumbreras Joven" which will involve the hiring of two full-time administrative assistants for six months.
These two administrative staff, dependent on the Department of Culture and Tourism and the Department of Sports, will have as their main function the promotion of positive leisure models through a plan aimed at young people with cultural, sports and leisure activities.
Another function they will carry out will be the promotion and dissemination of the advantages of the Youth Guarantee program for young people to register.
On the other hand, the City will implement the "Limpiatour" employment program through which a full-time cleaning laborer will be hired, who must be enrolled in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
Among the functions of the pawn is the cleaning and disinfection of buildings and tourist infrastructure to properly conserve the tourist attraction of the municipality.
The Councilor for Employment, Angela Morillas, stressed that "the projects focused on the Youth Guarantee program have as main objective to improve the occupancy of unemployed young people under 30 years."
In addition, Morillas said that "we continue to promote this type of initiatives that encourage job creation to further reduce the local unemployment rate and facilitate the labor insertion of young people with public utility services."
The requirement that young people must meet to perform these services is to be enrolled in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
The office of the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia will be in charge of carrying out the procedure for preselecting candidates according to the profile requested.
Those who wish to enroll in the Youth Guarantee System to access these two employment programs must go to the Young Space of Puerto Lumbreras from Tuesday, January 31 to Friday, February 3 from 10.00 to 13.30 hours.
For future employment programs, interested parties will be able to register in the Youth Guarantee System from Monday, February 6 in the Youth Space at their usual time, Monday afternoon from 4.30 pm to 8.00 pm and from Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm hours.
Finally, it should be noted that the two projects have a total subsidy of 27,252.24 euros and will be implemented before 31 March.
These programs are financed with funds from the Ministry responsible for employment, transferred to the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the SEF, co-financed with the European Social Fund, being the promoter of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
