The actions are focused on the improvement of the sanitation network and contemplate the execution of an investment in new pipes of collectors for an amount of 23,168.68 euros.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Autonomous Community, has launched a series of actions for the renovation of the sanitation network on the Camino Tío Félix.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Ángeles Tunis, and the Councilor for Works and Public Spaces, Eliseo Sánchez, have visited the works to supervise the actions that are being carried out and whose execution period is three months.
Specifically, the actions focus on the improvement of the sanitation network and contemplate the execution of an investment in new pipes of collectors for an amount of 23,168.68 euros.
In this way, it is planned to install 70 meters of pipes for the renewal of the network.
To this end, excavations, demolitions, concrete works, pipe assembly and finally paving are being carried out.
In this sense, the Councilor for Works has explained that "the existing sanitation network has been canceled and is laying a new network of PVC pipes with 630 millimeters in diameter, which allows the evacuation of waste water."
In addition, Eliseo Sánchez added that "due to the deterioration that the old pipe has experienced over time and the small diameter it had, we have considered it necessary to replace it with a new one with the objective of improving the sanitation network."
