The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has developed a mobile application that allows consulting the job offers and training courses that the Department of Employment publishes daily.
This was presented this morning by the Mayor, Mª Ángeles Tunis, and the Director General of the Regional Employment and Training Service, Alejandro Zamora.
The new app allows you to quickly and easily consult the employment and training offers published by the City of Puerto Lumbreras through the Center for Innovation, Training, Employment and Companies.
The application is available for mobile phones and tablets with "Android" operating system, and soon will also come into operation for devices "Apple" brand.
Four students of the course "Programmer of computer systems", promoted by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF), have been in charge of creating the new mobile application.
The Mayoress, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, explained that "from the city council we have supported this initiative, since our intention is to increase the transparency and channels of communication with citizens, as well as to facilitate the search for employment, so that all People who want to work can do it. "
Citizens can consult the list of current job vacancies and filter them according to a series of criteria, which includes a list of areas of interest.
In addition, users have the possibility to configure the application to receive alerts on their mobile and can also know the latest news from the municipality from this application.
Whenever a training or employment offer is published by the City Council, it will be specified to which area of ​​interest it belongs.
Those users that have activated the alert, will receive an informative notice in their mobile.
When you click on the notification, the mobile application will open and the screen containing the corresponding offer tab will be displayed.
To conclude, Tunisia stressed that "with this new resource we put some of the services of the local employment office available to citizens 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
