On 21 August, the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras detained two people of Romanian origin, after learning that there had been a theft in a local supermarket.
The agents proceeded to the identification of the author of the facts, a young person of 28 years, who had tried to subtract several bottles of alcoholic drinks.
After a brief interrogation, the agents suspected that this person did not act alone.
Shortly afterwards the agents managed to locate the vehicle in which this woman was traveling and where the man who was waiting for her to go to her home in the city of Elche in Alicante.
In the registration of the vehicle they found in the trunk a plastic bag with foodstuffs that had been stolen scarce minutes before in another supermarket of the locality.
Once identified the man, the Local Police verified that the two people had several antecedents by similar facts and the man had a search and arrest warrant issued by a court of Torrevieja, reason why they were stopped and put to judicial disposition.
