The money collected with the inscriptions will be destined to the purchase of a motorized device that will allow the students of the school Pillar Soubrier to realize a correct assisted march.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and sports associations of the municipality have organized the solidarity race "Reto Innowalk" with the objective of raising funds for the children of the special education school Pilar Soubrier.
Specifically, on Saturday September 2 will be held the sporting event, starting at 18.00 hours, on the Avenida Pedro Garcia Rubio.
The modalities in which the race will be disputed are cyclopaseo, march, race 6K and race for children.
In addition, after the trophy awards, a solidarity concert will be held by the local group "Ultima Eco".
At 18.00 hours start the day with cyclopaseo, which will involve families in full touring the main streets of the municipality.
Then the solidarity march will take place and at 20.00 hours will be the turn of the children's race.
Finally, at 21.00 hours will be disputed the competitive 6-kilometer race for the category cadet, junior, junior, senior, and veterans (A, B, C).

It is a device that adapts individually to each child and whose cost can not be assumed by the school.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, stressed that "with this solidarity and leisure initiative we want to contribute to improving the quality of life of these children, some of them lumbrerenses, and show our support."
In addition, Tunisia has encouraged citizens of all ages to join this event, as "it is a way to give the opportunity to move children who can not do it themselves and it is worth it that we all put our granite of sand".
The inscription price is 3 euros for cyclopaseo, marathon and children's races and 5 euros for participants in the 6k race.
The inscriptions can be made online until Thursday August 31 through the web www.cronomur.es, or face-to-face in the summer pools of Puerto Lumbreras from 12.00 a 20.00h.
To facilitate participation, the Department of Physical Activity and Sports has enabled a telephone information 661839944 for all people who need to make some inquiry about the tests.
For the same reason, the organization has foreseen that last minute registrations can be made, 60 minutes before each test at the places of departure.
It should be noted that this solidarity day is organized by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, Cabezo de la Jara, Esparragal Sports Association, Runnnig La Sima Trail and AndaYa Hiking Club, in close collaboration with the Nogalte Athletics Club, Leisure and Time Association Free in the Silybum Nature, Trilumb Club, Puerto Lumbreras Tennis Club, Lumbreras Basketball Club and Club Deportivo Lumbreras.
This day is framed in the initiative "Challenge Innowalk", which arose from a group of parents of the special education school Pilar Soubrier de Lorca, along with the team of physiotherapists of the center.
