This morning a Floral Offering was celebrated in honor of the Virgen del Rosario, patron saint of Puerto Lumbreras.
At 11.00 hours, the lumbrerenses dressed in the typical huertano costume began their journey from the Plaza de la Constitución to the Parish Church.
Among the citizens was the mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Tunisia and his Government team.
In addition, the act also took part the ladies and queen of the holidays 2017, as well as associations and groups of the municipality.
When arriving at the square of the Church, the citizens have deposited their bouquets, centers and baskets of flowers next to the image of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Then, a mass was celebrated in honor of the patron in the square Juan Pablo II, sung and danced by the group Coros y Danzas Virgen del Rosario de Puerto Lumbreras and the guest group Peña el Caldero de San Pedro del Pinatar.
