Four tour packages have been designed that include visits to different areas of interest such as the Nogalte Castle, the Casa del Cura or the Astronomical Observatory.

The Department of Culture and Tourism of the City of Puerto Lumbreras offers packages of guided tours to schoolchildren to know the main tourist resources of the municipality.

In this way, 4 packages have been designed that include visits to the Nogalte Castle and the Cave Houses;

Astronomical Observatory, Nature Interpretation Center and Astronomical Path;

visit to the House of the Cure, Hydraulic Infrastructure and Ethnographic Room of Agriculture and Livestock;

and the last package is a tour of the system of exploitation and use of water in Puerto Lumbreras, which contains visits to the themed water cave, viewpoint of Medina Nogalte, Rambla de Nogalte and El Caño.

The main objective of this initiative is to make known the history and the monumental legacy, while trying to involve the little ones in the respect and conservation of cultural heritage through knowledge.

"We want to promote the touristic spaces of the town and the wealth of its heritage, guided tours for groups have a reduced cost and allow children to learn while having fun." The little ones will know the history of their municipality visiting the historic center of the locality, they will enjoy the natural surroundings, they will know our relationship with the water, and they will be moved by the stories and legends of Medina Nogalte ", explained the Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Mª Victoria Jerez.
