Over thirty women entrepreneurs participated in a meeting this morning to coincide with International Women's Day.
The day has had a meal-information coinciding with the launch of the campaign of trade 'March in women' offering discounts and promotions to women in the municipality during the month in over 100 shops.
Also during the meeting have agreed the forthcoming creation of an Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, the Councillor for Equal Opportunity, Catalina Gázquez, explained that "this day has served to highlight the foundations on which form the new Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Puerto Lumbreras".
Thus, explained that its purposes include the representation, defense and promotion of economic, social, business, professional, and cultural rights of women entrepreneurs in Puerto Lumbreras and support the entry of women into the world of business " .
In addition, the new partnership will provide regular information and updates on programs, grants, meetings and initiatives of interest to women entrepreneurs and, in turn, in collaboration with the City will promote training programs, among other initiatives to provide advice and support to women entrepreneurs in the municipality.
