The new Association of Puerto Lumbreras AMEN will launch, in collaboration with the municipality, various cultural and educational initiatives to promote integration of foreign women in all spheres of society lumbrerense
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, along with the Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Catalina Gázquez, met with the board of the Foreign Women's Association 'New Hope' to organize the implementation of integration and exchange initiatives cultural in the municipality.
The City will work with this new partnership is born with the aim to promote integration of foreign women in all spheres of society in Puerto Lumbreras.
Specifically, we plan to launch educational and cultural activities such as conferences, exhibitions, seminars and training programs that promote integration of foreign women in Puerto Lumbreras.
To this end, the council, through the departments of Equal Opportunities and Social Policy, promoted a plan for collaboration with the Association to increase cultural exchanges between different countries from which the women in the association, which include Ecuador, Colombia and Uruguay, among others.
