The Minister of Universities and Research Company, Salvador Marin, and the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, inaugurated this afternoon the company's new facilities Extruline System to ensure the proposed expansion of the company and expanding its range of pipes and pipe products with emitters can expand their production lines of the current seven-eight short-to 16.
The new company's facilities include 7,000 square meters of industrial buildings on a plot of 80,000 meters.
The company has invested over 3.5 billion euros in the facility, which has consolidated its staff of 50 employees and create new jobs.
Both the Minister and the Mayor highlighted the company's investment effort and its expansion plans, based on the internationalization and R & D + i that contributes to the competitiveness in order to provide greater value to their products.
In its expansion, Extruline System has received various grants from the Ministry through the Institute of Development, highlighting the recently approved € 230,000 for investment and innovation project within the Investment Support Programme Technologically Advanced in Strategic Sectors InfoFinaniación.
The company's production is concentrated in the processing of polymers for the manufacture of pipes and drip irrigation pipes for agricultural, water supply, cables and optical fiber communications, civil engineering, irrigation, residential and green spaces, and bricoriego other industrial and agricultural uses.
The new plant has five production lines for pipes with diameters of 12 to 250 millimeters (mm) and two lines with emitters built pipe 16 and 20 mm.
Also, Extruline System is certified ISO 9001/2000 quality, working on various R & D & I works in the research Footwear Technology Center and Plastic and integrated into their production processes technologies and energy efficiency to optimize their productivity and competitiveness.
Currently, the company lumbrerense bill eight million euros per year and exports 30 percent of its production to thirteen countries, most notably Morocco, France, Algeria, Senegal and Israel, with its own international distribution network after have begun this process of expansion with the support of the Autonomous Community through Overseas Promotion Plan.
It also has its own fleet logistics warehousing and distribution that allows for a more flexible and competitive service to their customers.
Meeting with businessmen
After the opening of new facilities, the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Minister, Salvador Marin, had a meeting with entrepreneurs in the municipality, to present the various offers subsidies to employers that the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research.
At the conference have also been exposed the initiatives and training programs for entrepreneurs who starts the session.
