The Municipal Football Field has been chosen by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras to recognize the best athletes of the 2017 School Games.
The champions and runners-up of each category, individually and by teams, passed through the center of the football field to collect their trophies and medals in the different sports.
It should be noted that the competition that had the most participation was the school cross held in February.
Among the sports activities that were performed by teams last season highlights basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and football 7.
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, and the councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, were in charge of handing out the trophies to the winners, in an act that was attended by about a hundred schoolchildren.
Mª Ángeles Tunisia highlighted "the effort and dedication of children in all sports competitions, which has been reflected in the good results obtained in the various tests in which they have participated."
Finally, Tunisia thanked the work done by the teachers and stressed "the importance of sports values ​​when instilling an education of respect and tolerance among children."
