This Sunday the procession of Corpus crosses the streets of Puerto Lumbreras accompanied, as it has been a tradition, by all the Lumbrerenses young people who during this month of May made their First Communion.
A beautiful day for those Christians who celebrate this festivity of great traditional roots and origin in the Middle Ages, since it is the only day in the annual calendar in which the Body and Blood of Christ leaves its Temple.
In the morning it was the turn of the children of the Lumbrerense hamlet of La Estación-Esparragal and this afternoon, from 7:00 pm, will be the procession of the Corpus in the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
The procession will be presided over by the custody followed by the joyous rejoicing of those who this year received the sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time.
In their official itinerary, all of them will tour the different Altars prepared with love and I wait for the occasion.
Among them, the winners in the III Altars and Balconies Corpus Christi Contest of Puerto Lumbreras 2018, organized by the Department of Culture.
Some prizes that will be given at the Mass to Our Lady of the Rosary on the day of their feast next October.
