This Thursday August 9 the Department of Culture of the City of Puerto Lumbreras celebrated, along with the work of Murcia actors of the Colectivo Autopía, the nightly dramatized visit 'Medina Nogalte' in the Castle of Nogalte and its patrimonial environment.
An initiative, as Councilwoman María Victoria Jerez points out, that "allows visitors and locals of all ages to get to know our history in a fun and entertaining way, getting a more real idea of ​​how life was at different times in the past" .
Thus, a score of visitors from different parts of the Spanish and French geography, taking advantage of their summer holidays, could enjoy a special night knowing differently the ins and outs of the environment Medina Nogalte in this day scheduled within the activities of Nogalte Cultural 2018.
Looking for the setting of the Muslim era, the route started from the Craftsman's House guided by the figure of a spirit trapped for more than 900 years in the environment, in a journey that traveled through the paths enabled to the Castle of Nogalte, medieval construction Islamic between the twelfth and twelfth centuries, whose strategic location at the confluence of the Rambla de Nogalte and Guadalentín Valley allowed to exercise control over these natural routes of communication between Levante and Andalusia.
