The Network of Libraries of Puerto Lumbreras has launched the 'Bibliopiscina' service.
An activity that consists in bringing to the Municipal Pools a selection of books with the aim of encouraging their users to read.
"These facilities are the most visited during the months of July and August by people of different groups and ages," points out Cultural Councilor, María Victoria Jerez, reason why "our intention is to encourage reading outside the walls of the Library, in addition to publicizing the Library and its services. "
The books can be withdrawn from Monday to Sunday from 12.00 to 20.00 hours at the Municipal Swimming Pool Complex.
The duration of the loan may be for the stay of that pool day, or to return within a maximum period of 15 days, being necessary to return it at the same collection point.
The mayor of Culture has highlighted that it is a service that complements the already offered from the Municipal Pools, "being very how to use to be in the same place of leisure, without having to go to the Municipal Library."
