The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has just offered a new course of 'basic kitchen operations' that will run from September 10 and until November 26, 2018. As pointed out by the Councilor for Employment, Angela Morillas, this proposal " It adds to the wide range of training offered throughout the year to Lumbrerenses with the intention of facilitating professionalism in the sector, as well as its improvement and expansion. "
Aimed at the unemployed group, the objective of this training is to treat basic contents such as pre-preparation of food, preparation and presentation of simple culinary elaborations, assistance to more complex preparation preparations, execute and apply operations, techniques and basic rules of handling, as well as the preparation and conservation of food.
The contents will be distributed in three blocks.
The first one will be provisioning, pre-elaboration and culinary conservation;
the second basic culinary preparation;
and the third internship in company.
The selection test will be held on September 4 at 11.00 at Hotel Riscal in Puerto Lumbreras.
Those interested must register prior to August 31 at the Center for Entrepreneurs of Lumbrerense, located at 19 October Street (Phone 968403107) or through the Tourist Qualification Center website.
