The actor Lumbrerense Ginés García Millán will be in charge of announcing the festivities of Puerto Lumbreras, which will be held from October 3 to 8 in honor of the Virgen del Rosario.
Ginés García will make the proclamation on October 3 in the Plaza Juan Pablo II, located next to the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, to give the kick-off to the 2018 patron saint festivities.
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, stressed that "it is an honor to have as a preacher one of the most important actors of the national scene that has spread the name of Puerto Lumbreras in all corners of our country."
Tunisia has highlighted that "I'm sure it will be a very special and emotional event, which will bring together many neighbors, Ginés García is a very dear person and that will be reflected on the day of the proclamation."
The actor has developed a large part of his professional career successfully combining film, theater and television.
