The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has donated two rooms of the Cultural and Creative Enterprises Nursery "Ceilum" for local bands to carry out their rehearsals.
This morning the mayor of the town, Maria Angeles Tunisia, has formalized the contract with the representative of Alambrada and in the coming days will do so with Ramblues, the two groups that will begin to benefit from the initiative.
The purpose of this measure is to promote the musical culture and make the members of the local bands more accessible.
"We offer free a space in which to develop musical projects and even offer small concerts", explained Tunisia.
In this way, the two groups have as of today two premises of 34 square meters located in the basement of the Vivero de Empresas Culturales y Creativas.
It is a space in which they can store their instruments and rehearse without causing discomfort to the neighbors.
The rooms, completely soundproofed, are paved with pieces of stoneware with walls covered with plaster smooth plaster and plastic paint in various colors.
The rooms have installation of lighting, signaling and installation against fires.
In addition, users have toilets and access adapted to handicapped people at their disposal.
As detailed in the contract, the period for granting the authorization is one year, renewable for another year of the same duration.
The members of the band will be able to access the rehearsal rooms 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
