The anniversary of the gala will bring together the 60 queens of the festivities that have made history in the Lumbrerense municipality
The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras celebrates this year the 60th anniversary of the "Baile de la Reina" Election and Coronation gala.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, the councilman of Celebrations, Juan Rubén Burrueco, and the councilman of Youth, Andrés López, have been accompanied by the 9 ladies who will choose the crown of Queen of the Holidays 2018, and by the Queen of the Fiestas 2017, Marta Sánchez, at the presentation ceremony.
The meeting will take place on Saturday September 8 from 23.00 on the esplanade of the Municipal Sports Center.
As in previous editions, before the start of the gala, the official reception of the ladies will take place at the Casa de los Duendes Cultural Center.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, MÂŞ Ángeles Túnez, explained that "this year will be a very special gala in which we will remember with enthusiasm the different generations that have been part of the Dance of the Queen throughout these sixty years" .
And it is that the anniversary of the gala will bring together the 60 queens of the parties that have made history in the municipality of Lumbrerense.
MÂŞ Ángeles Tunisia stressed that "the dance is one of the most deeply rooted traditions of Puerto Lumbreras, which year after year has become a benchmark for all the residents of the town, we will live a magical night, in which very intense feelings will emerge among all the attendees. "
This new edition, which will pay tribute to the 60 queens, will be acclimated with the most famous songs of the Eurovision festival.
Attendees can enjoy great hits like Euphoria, Waterloo or Tu canción.
The journalists Luis Alcázar and Encarna Talavera will be in charge of conducting the gala in which the attendance of 2,000 people is expected.
Regarding the technical characteristics, the Baile de la Reina 2018 gala will feature a catwalk of more than 50 meters in length and a stage of more than 170 square meters that will accommodate a great show with 300,000 watts of light and sound.
During the gala, the audience will enjoy animation, music and dance performances by the Victor Campos ballet.
To end the evening, the Queen of the Fiestas 2017, Marta Sánchez, will give the crown to one of the candidates that this year aspire to be elected by popular vote.
The ladies are Nuria Avilés, Barnes Africa, Marina Carrillo, Ana García, Noelia García, Ana Gázquez, Marina Gómez, Lorena López and Alicia Pérez.
We give them that they will be accompanied by: Rubén Sánchez, Pablo Lázaro, Rafa Roncero, Ramón Giménez, Francisco José Gázquez, Adrián Artero, Gabriel Pérez, Martín García and Juan David Reinaldos.
The coronation gala will be closed with the traditional waltz, chaired by the new queen, in which all the ladies will participate, accompanied by their respective dances.
Next, an orchestra will animate the audience for the rest of the night.
