This week the new 2018/2019 course has begun in the four Children's Schools of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras for children from 0 to 3 years old.

The start of this new course is marked by the increase in the number of registrations by 17% compared to the previous year with 146 students enrolled.
This year also highlights the launch of a new educational project based on emotional intelligence.

The Councilor for Education, Sonia Lopez, has indicated that "the purpose of this project is to educate the children in aspects that they will need throughout their lives such as empathy, teamwork or social skills. he manages to work on different aspects of emotional intelligence, such as self-knowledge of emotions and their control, and some of the activities that will be carried out are readings of stories about emotional intelligence, relaxation activities or theatrical performances with puppets so that they feel identified and can develop your social skills
The Municipal Network of Infantile Schools offers a wide range of services with assistance, assistance and education for children from 4 months to 12 years.
Thus, among the main services of this new course is the morning service from 07:30, collection and transfer to the four schools attached to day care, English classes, daycare service for individual hours, psycho-pedagogical counseling for families, initiation to new technologies, workshops for fathers and mothers and adaptation period for children who start school.
All public nurseries provide school lunch service.
The menu is prepared by expert nutritionists and its composition and texture adapts to the evolutionary rhythm and the age of the children.
