Puerto Lumbreras already has a new Queen of Fiestas, Ana García Carrasco.
This young Lumbrerense was elected last night by popular vote among the eight remaining ladies who aspired to win the title.
This year the gala of the Queen's Dance served to pay tribute to all the queens that were part of the history of the municipality, coinciding with the celebration of the 60th anniversary.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Túnez, stressed that "Baile is one of the most deeply-rooted traditions of Puerto Lumbreras, which year after year has become a benchmark for all the residents of the town. in which very intense feelings have surfaced among all the attendees. "
The journalists Luis Alcázar and Encarna Talavera were in charge of conducting the gala, which was set with the most famous songs of the Eurovision festival.
The nearly 2,000 attendees enjoyed great hits like Euphoria, Waterloo or Tu canción.
During the gala, the ballet of Victor Campos delighted the audience with various dance, music and entertainment shows.
To end the evening, Queen of the Fiestas 2017, Marta Sánchez, gave the crown to Ana García Carrasco.
The ladies of the 2018 edition are Nuria Avilés, Barnes Africa, Marina Carrillo, Noelia García, Ana Gázquez, Marina Gómez, Lorena López and Alicia Pérez.
