Hundreds of bikers and rock lovers have moved this weekend to Puerto Lumbreras to enjoy a weekend full of free activities, coinciding with the X Anniversary of the rock biker "Custom Lumbreras".
The day began on Saturday September 29 in the tent of the Fairground of Puerto Lumbreras with the XI edition of the Festival Tortilla Rock organized by the Association Salvemos El Directo (SED) in collaboration with the City Council of this town.
From 11:00 hours they began to play the 15 invited bands, which offered 15 uninterrupted hours of live music with the best Murcian rock and a tribute to the local band 'Alambrada'.
Among these groupings was 'The Last Worm', 'Trapié' or 'La mentira', together with the lumbrerenses 'Último Eco' or 'Romera Brothers'.
Members of the organization pointed out that "the eleventh edition was very special due to the loss of our beloved friend and companion Ángel Rosique, singer and voice of the Lumbrerense band Alambrada".
The Festival of Rock had a tribute to Alambrada, so each of the participating bands played a theme of the Lumbrerense group during their performance in memory and honor to the band.
In parallel, the Tortilla Rock featured the XI Potato Tortilla Contest
On the other hand, today has been held in the municipal tent a "Motoalmuerzo" in tribute to José Alcaraz, member of the rock biker recently deceased.
Hundreds of two-wheeled motor enthusiasts from within and outside the Region have come to this event that has become a tradition in the town.
The day has included a show, urban routes, gifts and many other surprises to celebrate the occasion.
