The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, the Councilor for Commerce, Angela Morillas, the Councilor for Culture, Mª Victoria Jerez and the Queen of the Holidays 2018, Ana García, together with their respective bridesmaids, have opened the Medieval Market lumbrerense.
The program of these Fiestas Patronales 2018 hosts a new edition of this event in which artisans from different parts of Murcia participate, such as Caravaca, Jumilla or Murcia, as well as other points in Spain such as Galicia.
A meeting that began this past Friday and will be open to the public until Sunday the 7th from 10:00 to 22:00.
More than a dozen local artisans and artists also have an important representation, with craft beer, cheese, crochet and lace, costume jewelery, porcelain dolls, accessories, hand-painted t-shirts, handicrafts in wire or paint, among other arts.
In addition to being able to find a varied sample of handmade products, the youngest will be able to enjoy popular games and traditional attractions such as the wooden boat or the merry-go-round.
The Councilor for Culture wanted to highlight as the main novelty the representation of Lumbrerean writers who have their own position where they show their work.
"The attendees can know the great number of creatives that Puerto Lumbreras has in the world of writing and its different genres, being able to know first hand his work as well as get it," said Jerez.
Among the available titles are the works of Carmen Martínez, Mari Conchi Pérez, Blanca Túnez and Pepe Núa.
