Puerto Lumbreras hosted last Saturday the X Popular Urban Mile and XXV Popular Race 'City of Puerto Lumbreras'.
Dozens of young people from 0-4 years old to Veterans G participated in this sporting event resulting in the following positions according to categories and order of departure:
- 1st Race
Born in 2013 and later / 200 meters
- 2nd Race.
Prebenjamines / 400 meters
- 3rd Race.
Benjamins / 1,000 meters
- 4th Race.
Alevines / 1,609 meters
- 5th Race.
Children and Cadets male / 1,609 meters
- 6th Race.
From Children to Veterans D / 1,609 meters
- 7th Race.
Veterans A, B, C, D, E, F, G (Master) / 1,609 meters
- 8th Race.
Juniors, Juniors, Promises, Senior Men / 1,609 meters
With exit and finish on Avenida Pedro García Rubio, participants were able to make their registrations from 16.00, starting the competition by categories at 18.00 and making the awards ceremony at 19.30.
The sporting event was organized by the Esparragal Sports Association and Nogalte Athletics Club, with the collaboration of Fenie Energía, Grupo Élites, Hogar Puerto Lumbreras, Hero and the Department of Physical Activity and Sports of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras.
