The Department of Commerce will carry out a campaign to sell flowers in the area outside the cemetery for 30, October 31 and November 1
The Department of Public Spaces is carrying out improvement and conditioning work in the municipal cemetery of San Damián on the occasion of the arrival of the festival of All Saints.
The City Council has prepared a special device for the adaptation of this space that will be visited by many residents of the town in the coming days.
During the previous weeks the work of gardening, cleaning, painting and lighting is intensified.
In addition, a thousand parking spaces will be created within the cemetery.
On the other hand, to facilitate the flow of traffic, the Consistory will arrange a special bus service on November 1 to facilitate the movement of citizens to the cemetery and promote public transport.
The timetable will be from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, the stops will be located on Avenida de Almería, Región Murciana avenue, Calle Limoneros, La Ermita and La Estación.
In the same way, security will be reinforced with the presence of a greater number of Local Police agents to control the parking and regulate the traffic in the accesses and the exit of the cemetery.
The cleaning and garbage collection service will also be intensified to keep the facilities in good condition during these days.
The Councilor for Public Spaces, Juan Rubén Burrueco, stressed that "we implement all these measures in order to ensure that the day is normal and ensure the proper state of the facilities in anticipation of large influx of public."
Sale of flowers
The Department of Commerce will carry out, one more year, the campaign of sale of flowers in the outer area of ​​the cemetery for 30 and October 31 from 09.00 to 18.00 and November 1 from 09.00 to 14.00 hours.
The participating businesses in this initiative are Florist 13 Roses, Sosa Florists and Florist Guirrete.
