The mayor and the director general have visited the plaza of the Murcia Region avenue, which aims to be remodeled through a project subsidized by the regional government
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Túnez, and the general director of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification, Francisco Abril, met this morning with the president and other representatives of the Lumbrerense association of merchants Aseplu to show their support and work in the impulse of local commerce.
Specifically, the Autonomous Community supports the association with the granting of grants worth 10,000 euros for the implementation of projects related to the promotion of trade.
Among them stands out the organization of trade fairs, training days and customer service workshops.
On the other hand, the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has granted a subsidy to Aseplu with a budget contribution of 15,000 euros for commercial revitalization.
For its part, Aseplu is committed to the organization and implementation of various events such as the annual "Business Awards", the launch of commercial campaigns "Your purchases in Kings", "Commercial Sales Campaign", "Puerto Lumbreras Te Enamora "," March in Feminine "," Tapa and Cocktail Route ", or the organization of different fairs such as" Mercadillo del Comercio "," Feria del Comercio Lumbrerense "and" Navilandia ".
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Angeles Tunis, has shown her strong support to merchants and entrepreneurs and stressed that "with these help we will strengthen the commercial sector and boost the economic fabric of the municipality."
The general director of Commerce has stressed that "from the regional government we continue to show our firm commitment to small businesses, a source of stable and quality employment, we help them apply commercial innovation for greater productivity and competitiveness."
Before finalizing its visit to the municipality, the general director of Commerce has wanted to move to the urban center, in which a few months ago an improvement plan was developed to revitalize the commercial zone thanks to a subsidy of the Autonomous Community.
The executed project consisted in the remodeling of green areas with artificial grass and actions to improve circulation and accessibility in the Murcia Region avenue.
Also, the mayor and the director general have visited the Plaza Murciana Avenue, which aims to be remodeled through a new project funded by the regional government.
The objective of this action is to improve accessibility as well as the installation of commercial signage for the commercial reactivation of the urban center of Puerto Lumbreras.
The works would be carried out in a period of three months, with a total estimated budget of 25,500 euros
