The local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) of Puerto Lumbreras celebrated last night a new edition of its annual gala marked by the great solidarity character.
About 250 people attended this charity event with the aim of raising funds for the association.
Among the attendees were numerous members of the government team and the mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez.
"The local board of the AECC plays a great job in the municipality supporting cancer patients and their families," said Tunisia, "regularly conduct information campaigns, raising awareness and fundraising to fight cancer."
The gala was supported by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, as well as with the collaboration of various companies and establishments in the area, which allowed the realization of a raffle of gifts among the attending public.
In addition, the event was enlivened with live music by the Lumbrerenses Romera Brotheres.
It should be noted that the next activity to benefit the AECC of Puerto Lumbreras will be a play on Saturday, November 24 at 9:00 pm at the Cultural Center.
A brilliant comedy "Bajo terapia" by Matías del Federico, directed by Pedro Flores with the performance of the theater group San Juan.
Among the actors who star in the work is Diego Moreno, Maria Angeles Aliaga, Emma Cortizo, Pedro Flores, Juanjo Guisado and Francisca Garcia.
