The general director of Agrarian Funds and Rural Development, Carmen María Sandoval, together with representatives of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, visited this week the works of the Leader project of the Campoder Local Action Group, of renovation and adaptation of the church and public park environment municipal center of La Ermita, which has a grant of 59,999 euros.
The investment is included in the Rural Development Program of the Region, with 63 percent financed by EU funds and 27 percent financed by the Autonomous Community.
The project contemplates the adaptation and improvement of the existing plaza, the creation of a new recreational space inside with the placement of playgrounds and the expansion of new green areas and promenades, which will renew the surroundings of the church and the municipal building of meetings and events in the area.
It also includes the planting of trees, the elimination of architectural barriers and the installation of Wi-Fi to give a better service demanded by the neighbors.
