The general director of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, and the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Túnez, held a meeting with residents of the municipality last night to publicize the aid of the Housing Plan of the Region of Murcia 2018/2021.
During the meeting, held at the Casa de los Duendes Socio-Cultural Center, the general director explained the different programs included in the Plan, among which are those for housing rental assistance;
aid for people in situations of eviction or launching of their habitual residence;
promotion of the housing park for rent;
promotion of the improvement of energy efficiency and sustainability in housing;
promotion of conservation, improvement of security of use and accessibility in housing;
promotion of urban and rural regeneration and renewal;
aid to young people and promotion of housing for the elderly and people with disabilities.
The deadline is open to submit applications for aid to improve energy efficiency and sustainability and for conservation, improving the safety of use and accessibility in housing in the region, which ends next November 30.
People who could not attend the meeting and wish to obtain more information about the Regional Housing Plan should contact the Technical Office of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 15:00.
