The streets of Puerto Lumbreras will announce very soon the festive date that is to come.
More than 7.200.000 led installed in different points of the municipality announce as of Friday morning the arrival of Christmas.
An extraordinary illumination that takes place every year for this special date, and that counts on this occasion with more than 50 decorative arches, a dozen motifs in streetlights and different illuminated trees of great size.
"For the holidays this year we have all the lighting of low consumption with LED technology that significantly reduces both CO2 emissions and electricity consumption, with the consequent economic savings for the municipal coffers and our contribution against climate change", has the mayor of the town of Mª Ángeles Tunisia.
Specifically, the consistory has installed lighting and arches with Christmas motifs in the main streets of the urban center of the town, to favor with it the commercial activity during these dates.
In addition, this year the historic quarter, the footbridge and the façade of the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church have also been illuminated.
A large set of decorative lights that is completed with the ornamentation placed on trees and lampposts of the town.
