'A day of fun' is the motto chosen for one of the Christmas activities that aim to reconcile family purchases and small local commerce.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca, the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Puerto Lumbreras, Aseplu, and Estrella Levante, has included in its extensive Christmas program the activity 'Navilandia'.
An initiative that, as pointed out by the Councilor for Employment, Commerce and Industry, Ángela Morillas, has as its main objective "to facilitate purchases in small shops in the town on some holidays without school hours".
Thus, the youngest can enjoy different recreational activities "while their parents quietly carry out their purchases," he says.
This activity began on Monday, December 24, at the Cultural Center of the town with workshops, entertainment and bouncy castles.
The hamlet of La Estación-El Esparragal will receive the initiative on Sunday December 30, as well as the Plaza of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary will do it on Monday 31, and Lorca street (next to Civil Guard Barracks) on Saturday 5 from January.
With limited seats until full capacity, tickets can be collected at the various partner stores.
'Navilandia' joins the Christmas campaign 'Your purchases in Puerto Lumbreras' which also includes the 'Cavalcade of Illusion', 'Good Afternoon' and 'Late Afternoon' in the Tent of Illusion, the 'Children's Bells' 'or the Carreta de San Silvestre.
