Different lumbrerenses poets gathered on Thursday December 27 at the Casa de los Duendes to celebrate the recital 'Poesía en Navidad'.
A date that is already established as a tradition among local literati since it is an initiative that began to be carried out at the beginning of this century by the Cultural Association 'Llamaradas'.
"Little by little, inviting new participants, this meeting has been growing," says the coordinator of the meeting, Carmen Martínez, cultivating, between verses, each time a greater number of amateurs. "
The recital began at 20.30 with a first round of interventions in which each of the participants made "a careful contribution of poems on these Christmas dates," as stressed by the Councilor for Culture, Mª Victoria Jerez, making a second round of free theme.
Among them, was the well-known writer from Lumbrerense based in Alhama de Murcia, Magdalena Sánchez Blesa, the artist Marcos Salvador Romera or the researcher Anabel Ponce, along with other Lumbrerenses such as Ana Martínez, Marcos G. Tunisia, the actress Sheila Maeda and the coordinator of the act, Carmen Martínez Mateos.
"It is a real luxury to have a poetic cast of Lumbrerense of this level because, with their contributions in the various annual meetings organized, always make us live the different seasons with greater depth and intensity," the mayor concluded.
