The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Urban Conservation Entity for the Industrial Area of ​​Puerto Lumbreras have just signed a collaboration agreement for the conservation and maintenance of this municipally owned space.
In this way, the Urban Conservation Entity assumes the conservation and maintenance of green areas, roads and sidewalks, street furniture and signage, as well as lighting.
It will also provide street cleaning services, green areas and street furniture.
It will also provide security and surveillance services for the plots and warehouses of said Industrial Estate.
For its part, the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras is committed to providing other urban and social services, the supply of electricity for street lighting, as well as police services, urban passenger transport or firefighters, among others.
For all these reasons, the City Council will make a contribution as compensation subsidy for an amount of 15,000 euros, an amount that is determined, as stated by the Councilor for Economy, Raquel Rodríguez, "for the report of the Municipal Technical Services regarding the cost of road maintenance, sidewalks, service areas, signage, green areas and students. "
To monitor the agreement, a joint committee will be set up, composed of the members determined by each of the parties, in order to ensure its proper development during the 2019 financial year.
