Before the information appeared on social networks and some media, the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras has issued a report in which it categorically denies the presence of 'squatters' in the Integral Center of Security of the locality.
Local police officers have inspected the place repeatedly without finding objects or other elements that reveal the existence of people residing inside the property.
The continuous monitoring of the Local Police makes it clear that the clothes hanging on the fence of the Security Center a few days ago had been deposited by a group of workers in the agrarian sector.
These people live near the public building and had decided to dry their clothes in this place without thinking about the repercussion that this action could have.
The agents verified the veracity of the facts and the habitual residence of these people who were asked not to put their clothes back in the vicinity of the Integral Security Center.
It should be noted that the agents have verified the residence of this group of people in a building very close to the center, located on Puerto Rico Street.
The Councilor for Citizen Security and Emergencies, Dolores Arenas, has praised "the good work that the Local Police continuously performs to ensure the safety of all Lumbrerenses."
In the same way, Arenas has demanded "responsibility to the socialist party of Puerto Lumbreras when it comes to spreading false accusations and disseminating them in the media."
