Participants train on Monday and Wednesday in the newly remodeled Municipal Football Field
A few weeks ago started the fifth season of the Socio-Sports School of Real Madrid in Puerto Lumbreras.
More than 40 children from 5 to 17 years old participate in this initiative that promotes values ​​education with football as a tool for the personal development of young people and the promotion of integration.
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, and the councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, visited the minors during their training in the renovated facilities of the Municipal Football Field to carry out the delivery of the official kits of the Real Madrid Foundation.
The students carry out their training sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in facilities that have been recently improved with the replacement of 8,050 square meters of FIFA Quality Pro artificial turf.
In the same way, the irrigation system and the perimeter pluvial grids have been renewed.
The works have also included the repair of the irrigation system of the football field, the installation of new soccer goals 7 and renewal of the network parabalones.
The sessions of the School are directed by a duly qualified professional, having a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Science and / or a diploma in Physical Education and / or a professional coach by the Football Federation with extensive experience.
The technical-tactical teaching of football is one of the functions of this school, through effective sports learning, according to the specific methodology of the Real Madrid Foundation.
In the same way, the school also offers social training in an adequate environment in which the participants channel their sports skills from a human and competency perspective, based on the positive values ​​of sport.
The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, stressed that "this school promotes sports activities that aims at the overall development of children, as well as the promotion of fundamental values ​​among which respect, companionship or equality".
The Socio-sporting School of the Real Madrid Foundation gives the opportunity to all children who wish to, regardless of their circumstances and abilities, to participate in this initiative.
For the correct and optimal functioning of the school, there is an Internal Regulation that guarantees the adequate development of the established educational program.
Among the norms, it is important to respect the schedules, make the correct use of the facilities and maintain an adequate behavior among colleagues.
