Numerous parishioners accompanied this Sunday morning to the image of the Child of Naples for the celebration of their parties.
At 12:00 noon, the songs and trophies began in charge of the gang of Naples, and later, at 1:00 pm, the celebration of the mass officiated by the parish priest Alejandro Cases Ramón began.
The party will continue this afternoon with music and dance of parrandas, jotas and malagueñas.
It should be noted that the festive day began yesterday, Saturday, January 19, with the traditional meeting of gangs.
The event counted on the participation of the Raiguero de Totana squad, Marina Cope de Águilas, Torrecilla de Lorca and Niño de Nápoles of Puerto Lumbreras.
The night was also enlivened by the singer of copla Marisol Segura.
It should be noted that this program has been organized by the butler of the parties, Antonio Moreno, in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Puerto Lumbreras.
The councilman of Celebrations, Juan Rubén Burrueco, has emphasized that "the celebrations in honor to the Boy of Naples constitute like a tradition very rooted in the municipality, that every year congregates to hundreds of people".
Finally, Burrueco thanked the "selfless work done by the butler and his great involvement in keeping alive the traditions of Puerto Lumbreras."
