The Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF), under the Ministry of Employment, Universities and Enterprise, has allocated 30,195 euros to the Lumbrerense municipality to carry out three training activities.
Free courses for students will allow a total of 45 unemployed people to improve their qualifications, which will facilitate their access to the labor market.
In particular, the course 'cleaning of surfaces and furniture in buildings and premises' will be developed.
The objective of the course is to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks by selecting the techniques, tools, products and machines to ensure sanitation, conservation and maintenance, where appropriate, under the supervision of the competent professional, complying with applicable regulations on safety and security. Health.
The initiative has a duration of 150 hours, in addition to 80 hours of non-work professional practices.
On the other hand, 'Mathematics proficiency level 2' and 'Proficiency in Spanish language level 2' will be the other training actions that will be taught in the next months with a duration of 120 hours each one of them.
In the first case, the objective is to identify the mathematical elements present in reality and apply reasoning in the solution of problems related to everyday life, using numbers and their basic operations, measurements, geometry, algebra and analysis. of data.
In the case of Spanish language proficiency, the purpose is to understand oral and written productions, to be able to express and interact appropriately in different social and cultural contexts, as well as to use language in the construction of knowledge, understanding of reality and self-regulation. of thought, emotions and behavior.
People who pass these two training actions with positive evaluations, will be exempt from the tests of key competence on mathematical competence and Spanish language, which are required as one of the requirements to access training actions linked to certificates of professionalism of Level 2.
As a measure of support for training, the unemployed who participate in the training activities and in the practical training modules in work centers provided for in the certificates of professionalism may receive aid in transport, when the training activity takes place in a locality different from the address of the worker and the distance between both locations is equal to or greater than 5 kilometers.
Likewise, unemployed women who are mothers of children up to three years of age will receive a conciliation aid for participating in these courses.
This help is also available to other vulnerable groups, such as the unemployed in situation or risk of social exclusion and unemployed women victims of gender violence, provided that all of them meet the requirements established for each case.
