The Department of Parks and Gardens of the City of Puerto Lumbreras has proceeded to install the old artificial turf of the Municipal Football Field in different streets, avenues and garden areas of the municipality to improve its appearance.
The councilor of the area, Juan Rubén Burrueco, has supervised the work that is being done and stressed that "take advantage of the useful life of the lawn, beautify the municipality and save costs are the objectives we intend to achieve with this initiative."
After the renovation of the artificial turf of the Football Field that was made a few weeks ago, the Consistory Lumbrerense has decided to take advantage of the material in good condition and grant it a second use.
"It is a sustainable initiative that affects the reuse and recycling of materials that are still in good condition."
"We improve the image of our public spaces, taking full advantage of resources and contributing to the sustainable development of the municipality, our goal is to care for and preserve the city to offer, every day, better services to citizens", concluded Juan Rubén Burrueco .
