The great participation of the Lumbrerenses and the enthusiasm shown with the candidacy of María Rosa confirmed that Puerto Lumbreras wants and needs a change.
On Saturday, February 9, the presentation of the socialist candidate for mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Rosa García, took place.
The event was attended by more than 300 guests, among whom were Culture Minister José Guirao, government delegate Diego Conesa, national deputies María González Veracruz and Carmen Baños, Senator Juan Luis Soto, several regional deputies including his spokesman, Joaquín López, and mayors of neighboring municipalities, among other personalities.
The candidate, in a respectful speech and without political attacks, made reference to the need for a change to improve Puerto Lumbreras.
He mentioned the main problems of the town and the proposals of the new socialist team.
She also had words of thanks for the numerous attendees who covered her during the event and who on many occasions interrupted her emotional speech with great applause.
