The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Association of Entrepreneurs Aseplu and the Official Chamber of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, has organized a month of March loaded with gastronomic initiatives, which includes as a novelty the 1st edition of the Ruta de la Cuchara.
From 1 to 10, a fortnight of restaurants will offer their clients special menus with spoon dishes, accompanied by wine or cane, for 4 euros.
Some of them are: lamb stew with punch, cooked with balls, sepia with gurullos, wheat with rabbit and snails, and fabes with prawns.
The hoteliers will also show their different proposals in a new edition of the Ruta de la Tapa, which will be held from 21st to 24th and from March 28th to 31st.
18 establishments will participate in this route with a score of culinary specialties, made with high quality products and designed specifically for the occasion.
For 2.50 euros, citizens can taste a tapa and a cane.
A jury composed of prestigious chefs will be responsible for awarding three prizes: best tapa, most creative cover and best spoon dish.
This year there will also be a prize for the diner.
Citizens interested in participating in the contest must obtain a minimum of 10 different stamps from the establishments attached to the Ruta de la Tapa campaign.
Once completed, you must deposit the brochure in an urn authorized for this purpose in the City of Puerto Lumbreras.
The last day to do it will be April 1.
