Puerto Lumbreras already has the winners of the Ruta de la Tapa and the Cuchara, restaurant Pernías and the Cueva de la Sultana, respectively.
Another of the establishments that has also received recognition has been the Ramblizo bar, with the award for the 'most innovative' tapa.
A jury composed of professional chefs have been responsible for awarding the three prizes.
This year, as a novelty, there has also been a prize for diners.
To participate in this draw, citizens had to get ten stamps from the different establishments along the route and deposit them in an urn installed in the City Hall of Puerto Lumbreras.
Yesterday the draw was held in the meeting room of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, winning Catalina Garcia.
The lucky one has managed a hotel night for two people on a half-board basis at Hotel Jardines de la Santa.
For its part, the winner of the 'best tapa' has been given a stay in Granada on a half-board basis for two people;
On the other hand, the winner of the 'best spoon dish' and the 'most innovative tapa' have won a dinner and a spa circuit for two at the Jardines de Lorca hotel.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Association of Entrepreneurs Aseplu and the Official Chamber of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, organized a month of March loaded with gastronomic initiatives, which included the first edition of the Ruta de la Cuchara as a novelty.
From 1 to 10, a fortnight of restaurants offered their customers special menus with spoon dishes, accompanied by wine or cane, for 4 euros.
Some of them were: lamb stew with punch, cooked with balls, cuttlefish with gurullos, wheat with rabbit and snails and fabes with prawns.
The innkeepers also showed their different proposals in a new edition of the Ruta de la Tapa, which was held from 21 to 24 and from 28 to 31 March.
18 establishments participated in this route with a score of culinary specialties, made with high quality products and designed specifically for the occasion.
For 2.50 euros, citizens can taste a tapa and a cane.
In the same way, in the month of March Gastronomic Days with a great variety of workshops, courses and healthy breakfasts were developed.
Among the initiatives he highlighted: the ham cutting workshop on March 11 at Hotel Riscal;
the breading course on March 13 at Old Caché;
wine tasting on March 14 and 21 at Hotel Riscal;
workshop of healthy dinners for children at Buenaventura Children's School Romera on March 26;
or the haute cuisine master class on March 28 at Hotel Riscal.
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, explained that "with these gastronomic days, together with the route of the tapa and the spoon, we have diversified the offer of products and enhanced gastronomy as a tourist attraction and an element of economic dynamisation".
To conclude, Tunisia congratulated all the participants and, of course, the winners, "who surpass each other with more innovative and higher quality dishes every year".
