The Cabildo de Cofradías Pasionarias of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, has organized the third edition of the Holy Week Drawing Contest, in which nearly a hundred children from the four public schools of the municipality have participated.
The purpose of this initiative is to collect impressions and show on paper the vision that children have about the Holy Week in Lumbrerense, at the same time as promoting artistic creativity and traditions.
In this new edition, Daniela Segura (CEIP Sacred Heart), Andrés Cabrera (CEIP Juan Antonio López Alcaraz) and Gema Quiñonero (CEIP Juan Antonio López Alcaraz) have been the winners.
The mayor of the town, the Councilor for Culture and the presidents of the three brotherhoods attended the award ceremony.
The winners of the contest have obtained a diploma and a gift related to the Semana Santa from Lumbrerense.
All the works will be exhibited at the Casa de los Duendes Socio-Cultural Center until next April 21st.
Citizens who wish to see them may do so from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In addition, you can also visit on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
