The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Angeles Túnez, and the president of the Cabildo de Cofradías Pasionarias of Puerto Lumbreras, Joaquín José García, have formalized the collaboration agreement for the promotion of culture in the municipality and, especially, during Holy Week.
With this signature, the agreement is extended by which the Consistory Lumbrerense grants a grant of 27,000 euros to the Cabildo with the primary purpose of organizing processions and other religious acts of the Holy Week.
To do this, the Cabildo de Cofradías will make an equitable distribution of the subsidy to the three brotherhoods of the municipality: the Antigua and Venerable Brotherhood of the Stma.
Virgen de los Dolores, the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Stmo.
Christ of the Faith and Mary Stma.

Father Jesus Nazareno and María Stma de la Esperanza.
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, explained that "this is another example of our commitment to the promotion of Holy Week, which is getting bigger and occupies a more prominent place in the Region of Murcia".
