The Casa de los Duendes Cultural Center welcomes today an exhibition of the Lumbrerense Salva Piñero that bears the name 'After a life, another life'.
The author himself tells that the inspiration that motivated this work arose in a pilgrimage between his native town, Puerto Lumbreras, and Caravaca de la Cruz.
The sample includes acrylics and oils with intense colors in various formats.
Most of these pieces have as a common element the windows that the artist has captured in his work.
"Life is not the same in large cities and towns, windows do not look like anything, it is not the same air that comes in. In large cities, windows are the elements that allow the entrance of the street light, but in the villages is different, is the way to enter life in the house, "stressed Piñero.
In addition to the works belonging to the collection 'After a life, another life', the painter has exposed on this occasion other works that are framed outside it, but that follow the characteristic line of the artist.
Those interested in knowing their work will be able to do so until next June 3 in the exhibition hall of the House of the Duendes.
The schedule is from Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Salva Piñero is a self-taught artist who from an early age felt an interest in the world of art.
His foray into the world of painting is marked by his personal concerns, not only forged in the plastic arts, but adorned with literary ranges such as poetry and short story.
His works have starred in numerous collective and individual exhibitions.
